About Us
We are a family of three (Adam, Amanda and Luca) always looking for our next big adventure. While we’ve lived in St. Louis for most of our lives, we feel at home when we’re out exploring the world.
Whether that’s short weekend trips or extended international vacations, we love seeing new places, trying local culinary favorites, and living life to the fullest.
All together, we’ve visited (not counting driving through a state, having a layover there, etc.) 30 states and seven countries. There’s a lot more on our bucket list and we’re just getting started.
As of now, we are starting on our next, and definitely craziest, getaway — selling our house and living on the road for the latter part of 2021 and early half of 2022.
On this blog, we’ll discuss everything from how we decided to make the leap to where we’re going and the things we’re doing along the way. We hope you follow along in our journey, and maybe, just maybe, you’ll plan to do something just as crazy someday.
More About Adam
Adam works remotely in the AdTech industry and loves Italy, the St. Louis Blues, 311, and seafood. A pulmonary embolism survivor, Adam is all about making the most of life and not taking things for granted. His dream is to one day travel full-time. A former journalist, Adam handles most of the writing for the blog.
More About Amanda
Amanda works remotely as an Art Director and is the creative genius and brains behind the operation. She loves drawing/designing, concocting new recipes, firing up Neapolitan style pizzas in the pizza oven and asking Adam “are we there yet?”
More About Luca
Luca is our 2-year-old little man who is a bundle of energy and always keeps us moving. He’s been to Iceland (in the womb), California, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, and New Orleans.
More About Chubbs
Adam’s brother, David, better known as “Chubbs”, is our fourth wheel and “manny” while Adam and Amanda are working. Always the life of the party and the kindest person around, Chubbs makes every room (and vacation) a happy one.
